QUESTION

How can I take advantage of the right-click popup menus in QC-CALC if I'm using a touch screen?

ANSWER

Use the right-click button available in both QC-CALC Real-Time and QC-CALC SPC.

To turn on this feature, perform the following steps:

  1. In either QC-CALC Real-Time or QC-CALC SPC, click Tools > Options > Global.
  2. In the Other section, check the box that says Show Right Mouse Button.
  3. Click OK.

Once you leave the Settings screen, you'll notice an extra button on the toolbar at the top of the QC-CALC window. It is a gray button with an icon of a menu on it.

To simulate a right mouse click simply click the Right Mouse Click button at the top of the screen. The button will appear depressed (don't worry, it's not really that upset) and the next click anywhere on the screen will be interpreted as a right mouse click. Once a right click has occurred, the button will return to its normal state and further clicks will be interpreted as left mouse clicks. When the screen is in "right mouse click" mode, the cursor will show a large icon of a menu to denote the screen state.
