The main reason this is happening is QC-CALC is receiving two communication files (one with the report commands and a second with the export commands) and the default settings within QC-CALC Real-Time have been changed making the data from both sources go to the wrong place.
Here are the steps you need to follow to fix the problem:
- In QC-CALC Real-Time go to the Tools > Options > Data Collection > Actions area.
- Change If number of machine dimensions in part does not match those in file… to "Always Adapt."
- Next, move to the Tools > Options > Data Collection > MultiSource area.
- For Trigger Conditions make sure both Reporting and Exporting are set to Trigger only on complete records.
- Click OK.
- Restart QC-CALC Real-Time for the changes take effect.
- Run a part routine that outputs both a Report.sta and a Export.sta
Now that the data is being collected correctly you should see double the number of dimensions you were seeing previously. This is because one set of dimensions is coming from the report output and the second set is coming from the export output. You can use a Dimension Filter to hide the second set of dimensions so the screen doesn’t look cluttered.
